Wellness is about much more than your health. At Wake Robin, we support residents in their efforts to find balance and make informed choices in all aspects of their well-being—and we offer a variety of opportunities to enhance and nurture each person’s quality of life.
From group classes such as yoga, aquatics, or strength and conditioning, to hiking the trails, swimming, snowshoeing, or riding your bike, there are plenty of ways you can stay active and keep your body fit. See our weekly fitness class calendar.
Whatever your interests are, you’ll find kindred spirits here. If there’s not already a resident activity or committee for what you want to do, you can create one. That’s how Wake Robin’s bee keeping and maple sugaring groups got started! Here’s a sampling of what’s going on now.
Our residents have always been civic-minded, and they’ve brought that mindset to Wake Robin. From our weekly town meetings, called Cup of Conversation, to resident-run committees that seek to improve our community, there are opportunities for you to use your skills and experience every day. And residents also spend more than 1000 hours per month volunteering for non-profits outside of Wake Robin. See the current Residents Association Committees and Activities.
Every fall and spring the Inquire program offers courses that will feed your passions and teach you something new. You’ll find everything from technology and social media courses, to the history of Lake Champlain, American art, and more. Download the latest brochure!
